Trigg lived in Brownwood, Texas for most of 35 years.  Never played a guitar.  Never written a song.  Glen Campbell’s long time bass player, Bill C. Graham, moved in next door. There were now songwriters everywhere. Trigg went to Pat McShan at King Music, bought an Alvarez Wildwood Special with three chords on it and wrote a thing called “Fell Off Of My Horse In Front Of Women”.

Trigg’s first gig was a long while after that.  He and his band played a live radio broadcast from a storefront on Broadway, piping out to the street and all of New York City from Times Square.    The show’s hosts had heard a download of Trigg’s album, “Cowboy Logic by Trigger And Some Dudes Named Roy” which was intended to be a one-off keepsake kind of project with no intent for live performances…ever.  So “The Real Radio Show” calls "Dude Named Roy" W. Ross Wells and says, “You guys gotta come up here and play this stuff on our show. The band went, played, and told lies about goats and night swims with rodeo queens . The show hosts were laughing.  The crowd out on Broadway was laughing.  Trigg was invited back, then rarely touched the guitar for 5 years.

Down the road, Trigg met singer/songwriting legend Terri Hendrix and renowned producer, Lloyd Maines at a songwriters gathering in Taos, N.M.  Trigg played them a song called "Congressman.  A while after that, Terri shoved him through the studio door and Lloyd brought tacos and told him when to "start that one over".  The bare-naked album "I See Naked People" was the result.

Some new songs and a lie or two are in the boiling pot.  Stay tuned.  :^)
